Tea bags for cleaning kitchen utensils

If you want to remove food debris and fat that may accumulate on the inside of your pots, take a tea bag (unprepared) and use it as a sponge. Rub the inside of the pots and, in just a few seconds, the fat will dissolve.

You may need 2-3 sachets of tea for each pot. We advise you to opt for cheaper teas before applying this trick.

Trick to remove grease from the outside of the pans

It is not difficult at all to remove the fat that accumulates on the outside of the pans. Simply take a pan slightly larger than the one you want to clean, fill it with water and add 4-5 tablespoons of baking soda.

Put the larger pan on the stove, put the small one inside it and leave them together on the fire for half an hour. As you can see, this method takes more time, but the results will not disappoint you — there is no better way to remove the fat from the pots!

Liquid dishwashing detergent that you can prepare at home

Detergent for cleaning kitchen utensils

Combining the astringent properties of salt and the disinfectant properties of apple cider vinegar and lemons, you get an absolutely wonderful liquid dishwashing detergent. It will kill bacteria, remove grease and eliminate unpleasant odors that tend to accumulate on kitchen utensils.

Ingredient:

  • 3 lemons
  • 2/3 cup salt
  • Half a cup of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup of water
  • 2 tablespoons rinse aid for dishwashers

Method of preparation and use:

  • Wash and cut the lemons (without peeling them) into pieces.
  • Put the lemon pieces in a food processor and process them until you get a homogeneous mixture. Add the apple cider vinegar, water and rinsing agent and start the food processor at high speed. Let the robot run for a few minutes. The mixture obtained should be homogeneous.
  • Pour the mixture into a saucepan and put it on the fire for 15 minutes, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon.
  • Pour the liquid into a bowl and let it cool (it is possible to form a solid layer on top when it has cooled).
  • As soon as it has cooled, pour the detergent into a container with a lid and store it in the refrigerator.
  • Use the solution obtained as you would use any dishwashing detergent. You will need two tablespoons of detergent to clean your kitchen utensils.

As you can see, it is not at all difficult — nor does it cost too much — to clean your kitchen utensils with natural products.
