1. How often should children’s hair be washed?

Children’s hair should not be washed daily as there is no risk of it drying out. Ideally, they should be washed on the head every two days.

However, this aspect also depends on the activity level of the little ones. If they play a sport or sweat a lot, their hair should be washed more often.

Be sure to wash your child with hypoallergenic products that will not unbalance the skin’s natural pH.

2. What can you do if your little one has hard hair?

Hair can often become tangled, becoming very difficult to comb or brush. You already know that brushing is a very important practice to stimulate hair growth and blood circulation to the scalp.

So, we advise you to try the following tricks to comb your children’s hair easier:

  • Coconut oil: The benefits of coconut oil in terms of hair care are significant. One of its most useful properties is that it has a balm-like effect. Drizzle a little coconut oil in your palm and apply it on your child’s hair ornament, from the roots to the tips. Use a comb with sparse teeth to untie the strands.
  • Hot water and conditioner: Here’s another very useful trick. Fill a spray bottle with lukewarm water and add a little conditioner. Shake the container well and spray the mixture obtained on the child’s head. When you start combing it, the strands will unravel immediately.
  • Weekly apple cider vinegar treatment: To prepare the following remedy, simply mix 100 ml of water with 25 ml of apple cider vinegar in a spray bottle. Wet the baby’s hair and apply the remedy. After 15 minutes, wash the baby’s head with his usual shampoo. You will be surprised at how healthy and shiny your little one’s hair will look.

3. Do not use curlers or dryers set at high temperatures
