  • Olive oil (200 ml)
  • Almond oil (200 ml)
  • 6 lemons without traces of pesticides or other treatments (200 g)
  • 1 sealed glass jar (approximately 500 ml capacity)

Method of preparation

  • Clean the lemon peels and let them dry in the oven (50 ° C) for about three hours.
  • Put the dried shells in the jar and cover them with the two oils.
  • Let the jar sit in a dark, dry place for about 50 days and shake it occasionally.
  • After the 50 days have elapsed, squeeze the lemon peels and strain the remaining oil through a gauze.
  • Pour the oil into pipette bottles. When you want to feel the pleasant aroma of lemon, pour 5 drops in a diffuser for essential oils.

  • 3 lemons (100 g)
  • Olive oil (100 ml)
  • 1 zippered bag or an airtight container resistant to high temperatures

Method of preparation

  • Bring a saucepan of water to a boil.
  • Meanwhile, peel the lemons.
  • Remove the fibers inside the lemon peels. All you have to do is use the yellow part. 
  • Then put the peels in hot water to remove the sour taste. Let them sit for about a minute.
  • At the same time, take the bag or airtight container, put it in a saucepan, open it and fill it half with olive oil.
  • After a minute, you will notice that the water in which the shells were has taken on a yellowish hue. Remove the shells, put them in the bag or container with oil and close it.
  • Now heat the bag or vessel on the steam bath. The steam will boil the product, mixing the ingredients well. This way, you will get the essential oil. Let the mixture boil for 2-3 hours.
  • After this time, remove the container from the heat and set the product aside for another 24 hours.
  • The next day, pour the oil into a container with a lid and store it in a ventilated and dry place.
